PTF Summer Program
In order to further the District’s goal of ensuring that each school year begins with a high-quality teacher in every classroom, the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows program will be recruiting and selecting an exemplary cohort to begin teaching in the fall of 2010. These Teaching Fellows will complete an intensive Training Institute in the summer of 2010 before beginning to teach in September.

Praxis I Registration:
Please register for all three portions of the Praxis I as soon as possible. The Praxis I is a a computerized test and is given on a daily basis.

We strongly recommend that you register for the Praxis II as soon as possible, as this is a critical step in the process of becoming a teacher. The last date that Fellows will be able to take the Praxis II to be eligible for the Summer 2010 program is on April 24, 2010.
Special Education applicants, you must take three Praxis II exams and you can only take two exams on one date, so you must register for two of the dates above, meaning the last date you can take your first Praxis II test is March 13, 2010.
